Begin your spiritual journey with a scenic drive from Delhi to Pithoragarh. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you move from plains to the beautiful Kumaon hills. Reach Pithoragarh by evening and check into your hotel for rest and overnight stay.

Travel Tip: The journey takes approximately 10-12 hours. We recommend starting early to enjoy the scenic views enroute and reach before sunset.

Travel from Pithoragarh to Nabi village via Dharchula. Enroute explore Dharchula market and the Nepal border area. Experience the unique culture of this border town with stunning views of Himalayan peaks and river valleys.

Pithoragarh Known as the 'Little Kashmir', Pithoragarh is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. The town serves as the gateway to the Himalayan passes and holds strategic importance.

Dharchula a picturesque town on the India-Nepal border, Dharchula is divided by the Kali River. It offers vibrant local markets, views of the Panchachuli peaks, and a unique blend of Indian and Nepalese cultures.

Today embark on the sacred journey to Adi Kailash (Jyollingkong). Visit the divine Parvati Sarovar, Parvati Mata Temple, and other significant spiritual sites in the region. Experience the profound energy of this sacred landscape.

Adi Kailash also known as Chhota Kailash, this sacred peak is considered the winter abode of Lord Shiva. The pyramidal-shaped mountain is worshipped as an alternative to Mount Kailash in Tibet.

Parvati Sarovar a pristine glacial lake situated near Adi Kailash, believed to be the bathing place of Goddess Parvati. The crystal clear waters reflect the surrounding peaks creating a mesmerizing sight.

Parvati Mata Temple an ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati, located near the Parvati Sarovar. The temple holds immense religious significance for devotees visiting Adi Kailash.

Pandav Parvat mythological mountains associated with the Pandavas from Mahabharata. These peaks add to the spiritual aura of the region with their breathtaking natural beauty.

Visit Nabhidhang for darshan of the sacred Om Parvat, famous for its natural snow formation resembling the 'Om' symbol. Drive to Old Lipulekh Pass for Mount Kailash darshan, then visit Kala Pani Temple before returning to Pithoragarh..

Om Parvat a mystical mountain with a natural formation of snow that clearly resembles the sacred 'Om' symbol. This phenomenon is visible only during specific months and is considered highly auspicious.

Kala Pani Temple, this unique temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is situated near the Kalapani springs. The area is known for its black water springs which are believed to have medicinal properties.

Old Lipulekh Pass from this historic pass, one can get breathtaking views of Mount Kailash in Tibet. The pass has been an ancient trade route between India and Tibet for centuries.
 

Note: Subject to government approval, Mount Kailash Darshan via Old Lipulekh Pass may be arranged; this is not included in the current itinerary and may require additional days and cost (₹3000 - ₹5000)

Explore the sacred temples and scenic spots around Pithoragarh. Visit Kamakhya Devi Temple, Jatteshwar Mahadev Temple, Mostmanu Temple, and Chandak Hills. In the evening, explore the local markets at your leisure.

Kamakhya Devi Temple a revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya, an incarnation of Shakti. The temple architecture reflects Kumaoni style and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.

Jatteshwar Mahadev Temple an ancient cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring a naturally formed Shivling. The temple is believed to be established by the Pandavas during their exile.

Chandak Hills offering breathtaking views of Pithoragarh valley and the Himalayan ranges. The sunrise and sunset views from these hills are particularly spectacular.

Receive certification for successfully completing the Adi Kailash Yatra. Begin return journey to Delhi with enroute visits to Jageshwar Dham, Chitai Golu Temple, and Kainchi Dham. Reach Delhi by approximately 11 PM with unforgettable memories.

Jageshwar Dham one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, Jageshwar is a cluster of over 100 ancient stone temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, nestled in a deodar forest. The site dates back to 9th-13th century AD.

Chitai Golu Temple famous for its unique tradition of bell offerings, this temple is dedicated to Golu Devta, the justice-dispensing deity of Kumaon. Thousands of bells adorn the temple premises.

Kainchi Dham a sacred ashram established by Neem Karoli Baba, attracting devotees from around the world including Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg. The serene ashram is located between two hills.

Important: Please keep your luggage ready for early morning departure. The journey back to Delhi is long, so we recommend carrying some snacks and water for the trip.

  •  If our vehicle cannot move due to heavy snowfall, we will provide an extra 4x4 vehicle at an additional cost, and guests will need to pay on the spot.
  •  Mount Kailash Darshan via Old Lipulekh Pass: Subject to government approval, this visit may be arranged but is not included in the current itinerary. If approved and arranged, it will require additional days and an extra cost of ₹3,000 - ₹5,000 per person.

Cancellation by Participant

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email. Refunds will be processed based on the date of cancellation:
  • 30+ days before departure: 20% deposit retained
  • 20–30 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 7–20 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
  • No refund will be provided for:
  • No-shows
  • Voluntary withdrawal after trip commencement


Cancellation by Trekkers Of India

  • We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to:
  • Insufficient bookings
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational or logistical reasons
  • In such cases, a full refund of the trip amount paid to us will be provided.
  • Trekkers Of India is not responsible for personal expenses such as flight tickets, visas, or other third-party costs.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required to confirm your booking. Your seat is confirmed only after the deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued.

    Balance Payment: The remaining 80% must be paid at least 7 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 15 days of departure, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
    Payment Currency: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. International participants may pay in foreign currency (USD or other approved currency), subject to prevailing exchange rates.

  • Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation in specified hotels.
  • Cheques not accepted.
  • Payments accepted via UPI, Credit Card, and Net Banking (in case of payment via credit card 3% extra will be charged).
  • Once the payment is completed, inform our team via sharing a screenshot/ copy of the payment confirmation. Make sure the date, time, and UTR number are visible in the copy.
  • If a solo female traveller does not wish to share accommodation an additional cost will be charged.   

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Trekkers of India reserves the right to alter the day-wise schedule of the tour without any prior information (based on traffic, route restrictions or unforeseen travel-related circumstances). 
  • In case there is an unprecedented surge in transportation or accommodation costs (for instance, a hike in fuel charges), the total cost of the package will also increase.
  • Trekkers Of India will not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances. Any additional cost incurred for the same will be in addition to the cost borne by the client.
  • Anything that is not mentioned in the inclusions is not a part of this package. 
  • Images of the sites, city, hotel, etc. are for illustration purposes only. 
  • Additional charges would be applied for the passengers who wish to stay back at the destination or transit.

No, this is a vehicle-based spiritual journey. Internal transportation is primarily conducted via high-ground clearance vehicles like Scorpio or Bolero to ensure access to the rugged Himalayan terrain. While you will walk short distances to visit temples and sacred lakes, there is no formal trekking involved in the main itinerary

Yes, it is possible to get a darshan of Mount Kailash in Tibet from the Old Lipulekh Pass. However, this visit is subject to government approval and is not part of the standard itinerary. If arranged, it may require additional days and an extra cost of approximately ₹3,000 - ₹5,000.

Due to the sensitive nature of the border areas near Nepal and Tibet, participants must provide the following: +1 Inner Line Permit (arranged by the team). Original Aadhaar Card. Recent passport-size photographs.
